The Summer Nationals Championship in Phoenix is over. There were 10 long days with 96 events and more than 300 fencers in some of the events This year we didn’t get medals, but I am proud of our young  fencers who fought hard, won difficult bouts, got more experience and made new friends. We are already back in the gym and start the preparation for the next competitive season.

Congratulations to HFA young foil fencer-Naomi Savioz for winning a Gold medal in Y10 WF at the Swiss Fencing Championship in Morges! Great job, Naomi!

Congratulations to the HFA youth fencers: Harrison McMillian who medals in Y12 Men’s Foil-7th place and in Y14-6th place! Levi Fergusson-6th in Y12 Men’s Foil, Alex Hasting-8th place in Y12 Men’s Foil, Tristan McConkey-10th in Y14 MF and 13th in Y12MF! Keep up the hard work and the love of the sport!

Great tournament for HFA’s youth fencers, who came back with 7 medals and gained good competitive experience before the Summer National Championship. Congratulations to Hailey Cashmsn-who medals in 3 events! Hailey took 2nd in Y10 Women’s Foil, 3rd in Y12 and Y14 Women’s Foil!
