Heartland Fencing Academy Congrats to Vanya McLaughlin-Gold in Y 14 Men's Foil!

HFA fencer Stefan Panagiev, representing Bulgaria competed at the World Championship in Poland.  After a long break due to injury, Stefan came back working hard and preparing for the World Championship. He helped his team wining against Qatar and fencing well against the World Champions-Russia.  What an amazing experience.

HFA had a great weekend at the SYC.  Congratulations to Vanya McLaughlin-8th place at Y14 Men's Foil(46 fencers), earning D19 rating and winning national points. Vanya show us great improvement and good fencing!

Congratulations to Julia Aires(Intermediate class).  Julia was recognized as a fencer of the month for her always positive attitude towards fencing, hard work, great respect to the coaches and her resilience. Congrats to Julia!

HFA fencers brought home 4 medals at the RJJC/ROC Stefan-Damian Panagiev—Gold medal in Division 2 Men’s Foil Stefan-Damian Panagiev—Silver medal in Juniors Men’s Foil Trevor Tsue—6th place in Division 1A Men’s Foil Chetan Parthiban—8th place

Zach Brooks—first place in Juniors Men’s Epee and second place in Unrated epee. Grady Robertson—first place in Unrated Men’s Epee and earning “E” rating. Anthony Suit—5th place in Unrated Men’s Epee. Great job HFA epee fencers!
