HFA students continue winning -now at NCAA Fencing events. Ohio State Open Quinlyn Morgan(Wayne State) won Gold in Men's Foil! Congratulation Quin!

Congratulations to HFA fencers, Ian Flynn and Tarun Mettapalli for winning Bronze Medals at the Fencing Center of Chicago RYC & RJCC! Ian won 3rd place in Y14 Men's Foil-(25 fencers) and Tarun won 3rd at Y12 Men's Foil(21fencers). This is a good start of the season and good results, considering that they just move to a new age group. Go HFA Team!

Congratulation to our young fencer-Jackson Aires(Beginners class). Jackson has moved two months ago from the Little Knights to the youth beginners program and we are very impressed with his hard work, improvement, attendance, and competitiveness. Keep up the joy and hard work in fencing!

The biggest fencing event in the world-2019 Summer Nationals is over. 10 days-12 hours each day of amazing fencing! We all came back exhausted, but recharged with positive emotions and plans for the next season.  This year we didn't get medals, even that we were very close to the medal rounds some of the days. Heartland Fencing Academy Another great tournament at HFA! Thank you to all referees and volunteers who help us run the events successfully. How fun is to see the young fencers work hard on the strip and than play and became friend with the same kid they just competed. Wonderful experience!
