Another fantastic weekend for the young HFA fencers at the Midwest Regionals! Our students returned with 7 medals and several others who came close to top 8 finishes. We are incredibly proud of their progress, showing great improvement, resilience in close bouts, and dedication throughout the competition. A big thank you to Coach Zdravka Panagieva for her invaluable coaching support during these long days.

Alex Hasting – 11th in Y14 Men’s Foil
Kyle Chen – 8th in Y10 Men’s Foil
Evan Chen – 10th in Y10 Men’s Foil, 11th in Y12 Men’s Foil
Sydney Savioz – 3rd in Y8 Women’s Foil
Noah Bala-May and Levi Fergusson – Gained valuable experience fencing at the regionals.
